Admission experience: On the day of receiving the undergraduate admission notice from Duke University, one of the Ivy League universities in the United States, applicants from all over the country set an alarm clock at 5am to prepare to check the final round of Ivy League admission results. However, I didn’t have much hope for Ivy League, so I slept leisurely until noon. After waking up, I found that my phone and WeChat were bombarded with messages. I thought that I wouldn’t be accepted anyway, and the time to check the results didn’t matter. So I calmly had a meal and only went to check the admission results in the afternoon. Unexpectedly, the first word that caught my eye was “Conclusions”. I excitedly called the consultant teacher who had been anxiously waiting, and screams filled our entire conversation process. I even suspect that this is a joke made by Ivy League schools on April Fool’s Day for global applicants, so after multiple logins and confirmations, I realized that this was indeed true. I need to thank the advisor for their meticulous care and assistance throughout my journey, and finally wish my classmates a smooth journey in Cuilu and a bright future for Binle.
