\nBooth’s Master of Finance program is mainly aimed at college graduates with a strong interest in quantitative research, thereby demonstrating higher competitiveness in the field of finance compared to other peers. Students will receive comprehensive financial education and learn the latest course content to prepare themselves for the constantly changing financial field in the future.
\nProject Introduction
\nStudents can choose a normal duration of 15 months, and capable students can also choose an accelerated version of 10 months. The Master of Finance program at Booth Business School not only offers courses taught by top finance professors worldwide, but also offers a dedicated career guidance program.
\nThroughout the course, students are required to complete four core courses – including investment, corporate finance, data analysis, and financial accounting, as well as nine elective courses. Among them, five courses are elective courses in finance, which help students efficiently and systematically learn the financial field knowledge they are interested in, improve quantitative skills, and better adapt to the financial workplace. This helps students effectively communicate complex financial concepts and insights in the business environment. By acquiring in-depth financial knowledge and effective communication and problem-solving skills, students will lay a solid foundation for their future careers.
\nRalph SJ Koijen, an outstanding service professor at AQR Capital Management, commented, “The notable feature of this new project is that students can be exposed to the most disruptive financial technologies and advancements. Choosing courses that cover fields such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data, and blockchain technology will provide students with significant advantages in their career after graduation.”
\nAt the same time, in order to better match the career development needs of students, students can also customize their financial elective courses from four professional fields, including asset management, investment banking, financial technology, and financial research.

        \nThe college has also designed Boothcamps specifically for students in the course to enhance their programming skills. Boothcamp will start in August (before the first quarter), laying the foundation for necessary data analysis and Python coding enhancements.
